With the required rate climbing and 38 runs needed off 24 balls, Rahul Tewatia eased the pressure by smashing two fours off Brar, followed by three more off Rabada in the next over. Shahrukh Khan also joined the charge, hitting a six in the same over as Gujarat Titans accumulated 20 runs off the 18th over, putting them firmly in control. However, with just 5 runs needed from 12 balls, GT faced a brief scare. Harshal Patel bowled a brilliant delivery to dismiss Shahrukh Khan on the first ball of the penultimate over, and five balls later, Rashid Khan was caught at mid-wicket. Despite this, Tewatia remained calm, clipping the first ball of the final over for four to fine leg, securing the win for GT by three wickets. Despite being hit for a six on the previous delivery, Mohit Sharma bounced back brilliantly, setting the stage for Gujarat Titans to mount a strong comeback.
