Chasing 184 in the RR vs RCB match, Rajasthan Royals faced an early setback when Reece Topley dismissed Yashasvi Jaiswal off the second ball of the innings. Captain Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler combined to steady the ship, blending caution with aggression. Buttler accelerated in the final over of the Powerplay, hitting 4,4,6,4 off Mayank Dagar to guide RR to 54/1 at the end of six overs.

Despite the breakthrough, RR’s dominant partnership between Buttler and Samson was pivotal in their chase. Their solid foundation proved crucial for Rajasthan Royals in successfully pursuing the target.
By the time Sanju Samson was dismissed, RR vs RCB saw Rajasthan Royals in a strong position with 36 runs needed off 32 balls. Samson’s wicket provided a glimmer of hope for RCB, who dismissed the in-form Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel cheaply. Despite the pressure, Jos Buttler remained composed. With 20 runs required from 21 balls, Buttler, alongside Shimron Hetmyer, guided RR past the finish line with five balls to spare. Buttler, on 94, hit a six to bring up his 100 and finish the match in style, remaining unbeaten on 100, while Hetmyer was not out on 11 (6).
Earlier in the RR vs RCB clash, Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson won the toss and chose to field. RCB’s openers, Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis, provided a brisk start. Kohli led the charge with his aggressive play, hitting a couple of elegant flicks for fours and an effortless six off Burger. In the first six overs, Kohli hit four fours and a six. At the same time, Du Plessis contributed with a couple of fours, helping Royal Challengers Bengaluru to a solid 53/0 in the Powerplay.
The strong opening partnership set the stage for RCB’s competitive total. Still, despite their efforts, RR’s solid chase ensured they clinched the win.
In the RR vs RCB match, spinners R. Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal managed to rein in the scoring, conceding just 11 runs in the next two overs. However, Faf du Plessis began to accelerate, hitting a couple of sixes off Trent Boult. The duo quickly reached a 100-run partnership in just 71 balls. During this period, RR had a couple of missed opportunities, including dropping a few tough catches. Boult missed a relatively simple chance to dismiss Du Plessis on 42 off Chahal. Despite the dropped chances, the partnership was eventually broken when Chahal had Du Plessis caught at long on for 44 (33) on the very next ball.
The strong partnership between Kohli and Du Plessis was crucial for RCB, setting up a competitive total in the RR vs. RCB contest.
In the RR vs RCB match, captain Sanju Samson brought back Burger, and the decision paid off as Burger dismissed Glenn Maxwell in the following. Virat Kohli kept moving the scoreboard with precise placement and timing despite this. Kohli brought up his eighth IPL century off 67 balls in the penultimate over and finished his innings in style, hitting three fours off Avesh Khan in the final over to guide RCB to a total of 183/3 at the end of 20 overs.
Kohli remained unbeaten on 113 off 72 balls, featuring 12 fours and four sixes. Earlier in the RR vs RCB contest, Shubham Dubey was introduced as RR’s Impact Player in the 18th over, replacing Yuzvendra Chahal, who had delivered a commendable spell of 4-0-34-2.
